So when you use the quick menu, your melee weapons auto goes to you right hand when pressing the assigned number stoke (1-8), when you switch to magic your spell goes to your left hand when pressing the assigned number stoke (1-8). if you double tap the key number stroke(1-8) spell will equip in both hands. I have spent countless hrs trying to trouble shoot different ways to get around this and the only thing i have figured out.

I am unable to equip the left hand weapons with a quick menu key stoke (1-8) unless I have the exact same weapons. For example steal daggers(2) if it has the (2) by it you can quick menu the steal dagger to (1-8) and press (1-8) twice and it will equip the steal dagger in each hand although if you upgrade it to fine there is no longer a (2) its like they are 2 different items at this point. Now I want a dagger in my left and an axe/sword in my right. I can not seamlessly switch between Duel wielding Melee and Magic this is really frustrating me. I have to have the exact same weapon with a (2) to get around this.

So this is what I want to do if its possible. I want to use a dagger in my left and and an axe/sword in my right (assign the dagger to 1) press 1 equips in my left hand (Assign the sword/axe to 2)press 2 axe/sword equips in my right hand. I am unable to seamlessly do this with out going to the weapons menu/quick menu and assigning the it to the left. Or unless its the same weapon stacked with the(2).

Note 1: I do not have this issue with the bow and I have not tested the shield. Only the magic to melee duel wield or vice verse.

Note 2: When i have duel Steel dagger(2) I will press key stroke assigned 1 twice it will equip both daggers in each hand then I have my Axe assigned to 2 and it will pull out my axe for the right hand. But only if I have 2 steel daggers(2) I can not upgrade or enchant them or this will not work. It has to have the Stack (2). If i have 2 different weapons I can not switch to magic or I will not be able to assign my left hand a weapon trough the quick menu key assignment(1-8) i really needs some help with this one.

Is there something I'm missing?

Its a console UI, because of this its clunky. May i ask why you want magic right and weapon left? you should just swap that! The first thing i did was swap the left and right mouse button.... Left hand is left mouse button. Who ever made those keybinds... :S

I do agree so very much that its frustrating to configure your weapon/spell setup on the pc(i think consule users are used to it as all games work with it >.>). I realy wish they added a diablo like preset weapon UI. Like setup 1 uses weapon x left weapon y right. Setup 2 using weapon y with a shield and setup 3 uses weapon x with spell z and setup 4 uses spell A and B. I realy realy realy hope they add that in an xpack or patch.

Ya i did the same thing with M1 and M2 lol it just did not feel right attacking with the M2 and the left hand swinging. Well I'm just going off what the default hand equips from key binding 1-8 from the quick menu right hand for swords and left for magic. for the love of God I cant figure out how to quick menu the left hand with a weapon seamlessly with out having the use the quick menu or the weapons menu from Tab. I have resulted in using a 2hander and creating a new toon because of this. I do not have any issue with this when using a 1hnder and shield or a 2hander just duel wield. and trust me I want to duel Wield so bad. But I'm not sacrificing my game play for it. The only why i have figured out how to do it is to have the same weapon with a stack(2) and if its a single weapon forget it not going to happen. I can't upgrade nor can I enchant it. So I said F it I wait for a patch before I duel wield.
