Bug with a marksman training

Post » Thu Feb 16, 2017 8:42 am

Hello!

I have a expert level in marksman, and I would like to become a master, but when I talk to the medium level coach there is no option "training", just for ex. Skingrad and rumors. Because of that I can't get to. The master of marksman. :/ Anyone knows what to do? In other abilities. Everything is fine. :/

Greetings to you all!

You gotta be trained by a master to be a master. The scrub can't teach above his level.

This isn't the training, it's the referral to the master for higher training. There are two trainers that can do this, did you try both? If so, the problem may be that the Master Trainer is dead, and you can't be referred up.

If the dialogue option doesn't appear at all, and your Marksman skill is 70 or higher, Alawen is dead. Sorry.

Well I killed her because of a mistake, but I used "resurrect " to bring her to life again. It happened before I reached 70 lvl, so that may be a reason?

Problem solved - I killed her, and ressurect didn't helped. I have to load earlier save and now everything is fine. Except me, because I have many hours to play to get to the same place I was. Thanks a lot! If not you I would not play game because of my anger. ;)

It's always a good idea to save your game more frequently than that. Heck, some of us save every few minutes. When you have been playing Bethesda games for years the act of regular saving becomes second nature. You can depend on it: the play session in which you forget to save is exactly the play session that will glitch on you, and you will curse yourself for not saving when you had the chance. :)

Do not attempt to resurrect dead NPCs. Doing so does not lower the "dead count" for that actor such that GetDeadCount equals 0; using some methods for checking if the actor is dead will indicate that they are, and some will not, which can cause problems.

If you still have your original save where you couldn't train to master, it might be quicker just to grind it out. Buy a stack of iron arrows and shoot a summoned skeleton repeatedly. If you stand on one of the boulders near the lighthouse in Anvil, the skeleton can't fight back.
