I found this on serveral forums but there doesnt seem to be a fix for it. With several quests when you have been to a place b4 you are on the quest and alrdy picked up the quest item the quest doesnt register you having it alrdy. And just point retardedly to where it should be. In my case in the "Forbidden Legend" questline.
