Build concept

Post » Sun Sep 23, 2012 8:37 am

After messing with a battlemage/spellsword build I came up with the following: Adventurer Argonian, two-handed sword/axe, light-armor, Alteration magic, Restoration magic, enchanting, smithing. though this is a very vague idea just wanted some input on it. Looking for honest and mature critisim (both positive and negative).

I find using a two handed weapon and magic to be a bit of a pain due to having to unequip your weapon, but that's just me.

This is true. I've tried playing a ranger who specilized in two-handed, archery, and illusion, and it was very clusmsy (less so when I stopped using magic).

It would be a pain as Wooley stated, but could be fun. The key thing with your builds is if you have fun with them. For example, the Arcane Archer build I am using right now is a freakin blast, Though next time, I may focus on Conjuration and Bound Weapons.

For simplicity sake though I would suggest going one handed maces or axes so that you can always have a spell at the ready for healing or whatnot.

I was wondering would trading the two-handed for dual wield be a better choice? Allowing me to deal heavy damage but if need be cast magic WHILE still attacking?
