Building a gaming rig

Sup guys! So with my next paycheck (or current, just got it today). I'll be buying myself a decent gaming rig. I'd just like to get your opinion on it really, see if it's good enough to run games on just high graphics levels (not max or anything, just high) and so that I won't have to upgrade it for at least a year or two. I'd also like to ask a question or two at the end.

Now, if I use my old HDD for the new computer for a while, I can just put in the 1 TB HDD later and just save things onto there too right?

Does everything go with everything? I don't want to try putting them together only to find out that I bought a wrong part.
