So like many of you, I've been enjoying the province of Skyrim. I've been questing alot and, after having completed 55 misc. quests I decided to start reading the many books laying around. I found myself a quest to find the Red Eagles Sword. No problem... quest completed. Now here's the glitch. I read the same book (but in a diffrent location)... and it gave me the quest again. I went back to check with no updates. I have already completed the quest.

My worry is now that this quest is forever stuck in my journal, when I do complete every other quest in the game, will I not be able to get these infinite quests? I wish I could just delete the quest all together. If anyone else has bumped into the same issue please let me know if there is a work around.

This happend to me an hour ago.. i dropped all my books on the floor in my house in whiterun a few days ago, after i bought a new house i went back to pick them all up and stash them into the bookshelf. when i picked that book up i got the quest again even tho the sword actually hangs in the weapon stash. i tried equip it but it doesnt help. i will just ignore it, i won't do it again.
infact many misc quests have forced me to go to some dungeons i cleared 4 times already... it svcks.. i don't think this quest will ruin anything later into the game. but i can't say for sure.

Wait a long while (Days/months game time) for the dungeon to reset and you may be able to accomplish it again
