Buying the DLC?

3 DLCs: first one, based around basically a bunch of challenges based around the already established game system; second one, based around 'The Whalers' (Daud and his assassins), which lets you use Daud's gear and talents and a third which is story-driven but as of yet, no details.

I am SO freaking excited for the Whaler DLC. Shut up and take my money, Arkane! As for the first DLC, the individual challenge maps... meh. I'll buy it, because it's Dishonored, but it's the story DLCs with those specially crafted levels I'm looking for.

P.S. I see the DLC is getting released for all systems at the same time. Good stuff.

*late game spoilers* Meh, I'm not so crazy about the Daud DLC. I really liked Daud to start with, I even watched his intro cutscene twice because I thought it was so cool and enigmatic. Sadly he became pretty boring once I heard him waxing philosophically to himself about The Regent's ironic downfall. It was disappointing to see him transform from callous assassin to pretentious windbag over the course of one mission. I wouldn't mind playing as one of the Whalers though, they were pretty cool.

Yeah, they are pretty awesome. Especially their voices. Love 'em.

Would be cool if maybe you were a Whaler who decides to leave the Whalers but now you have all of the abilties and stuff.

I'm not so sure about the first two. I didn't care for Daud but I'm curious to see what the third DLC will be about. Divided on if I will buy it though. I am not personally keen on DLC, but if the price is cheap and the story interesting I may get it.

The Whalers one sounds promising. I'm not too interested in challenge maps.

Considering the (2nd) DLC will probably be around $20-30, and it's a whole new campaign, and the actual game was $60, I can see it being more than worth it. As for the challenge maps, idk.
