I have no mods running and no cheats, only the default game with patch version 1.1.21.0.

I will get a CTD in the same spot every time within Calcelmo's Laboratory. I will walk into the lab open the first door with the lab key and the game will CTD every time that door is opened.

Okay I think I figurered out whats been happening, but without the proper tools, I can't fix the issue. When I use the key looted off the body and use it on the locked door, the game will crash. However if I lock pick the door I can get through and the game doesn't crash... At least there is a workaround.
