Can anybody help me make the '' Skyrim Theme '' play in norm

Post » Tue May 15, 2012 7:27 pm

It sometimes play when fighting dragons and I would like it to sometimes play in normal battles too ! I have no idea how to do it though, if it was Morrowind I would just have to play with the music files but in Skyrim case everything is in a .bsa and I have no idea how to work with them.

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated !

I've wanted to do this too. I was sad to see the music files aren't in the data folder as they were with all recent Bethesda games.

EDIT: What I should say is they're not in the data folder in any kind of form which I can readily access right now. ;)

It's the FO3 Archive Manager - it works for Skyrim's BSA files. As far as I could tell from looking at the structure, you'd have to just copy the main theme into the "combat" folder (may have to rename it, I don't know for sure.).

Just spawn a dragon every time you get into a fight. Instant epic music!

Really gets the blood pumping, doesn't it? Makes everything seem more dangerous than it really is... Though nothing is quite as cool as sniping a sleeping dragon and one-shotting it, causing it to go through the swoop death and crash landing animation!

Yes, if you check out a Dragon Barrow, you can sometimes see them sleeping. Sneak up on them and hit them with an arrow to give them a very rude awakening. Use an overpowered bow made with Blacksmithing and you can even one shot them. The death animation is amazing since it permanently destroys the ground when they land.
