Can anyone explain these strange Dwemer ruins?

Post » Sun Dec 16, 2012 1:16 pm

Both the shipwreck found near Moesring Pass and the ruins beneath Hrodulf's House confound me.

Does anyone understand how the Dwemer managed to crash a ship on top of a mountain? Was it an airship or were they just sailing down from Aetherius to mess with us puny mortals?

Also can anyone understand the story with the dead guys in Hrodulf's House? I know the reavers / bandits seemed to kill them, but I don't understand why the journal written by the guy made him insane about the fire in the Dwemer ruin. It only looked like a normal furnace to me.

I would appreciate any replies or explanations.

The latter one is like nothing more than some added colour/ variety.
There doesnt seem to be a quest involved with it and glitching behind it reveals there is nothing on the other side.

The ship in the middle of the mountains is indeed a http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Bloodmoon:The_Patchwork_Airship.
However they did not crash it, some people from the game Morrwowind did.
