Can anyone update us on the PS3 DLC situation?

I don't have a PS3 but this whole ordeal has been pretty interesting. So what's the latest news on the DLC situation? The last piece of news I heard was that Bethesda was still working hard on the problem. However that piece of info was from early October.

That's pretty much it. They're still "hard at work" attempting to bring the wonders of Skyrim to gamers on "all platforms."

You can interpret that in any way you'd like. Personally, I firmly believe they haven't done anything, aren't actually planning on doing anything, and are waiting until this whole thing blows over before they quietly announce that we won't be getting the DLC at all.

But hey, I guess it depends on who you ask.

I still have my hopes up that all Skyrim DLCs will eventually see the light on the PS3, but it is unclear when that will happen. The best thing Bethesda could do at this moment, is post an update, no matter how long or short, on the situation. Just a ''we're working on it'' or ''we've quit, and it won't happen'' will be better than the enduring ''nothing''.

I understand where you're coming from, but honestly, how many times are we going to accept "we're working on it" without seeing any actual evidence to that effect? I want proof. They've coasted on our good graces long enough.

You're right about that. However, I hope that Bethesda will let us know if they decide to quit the PS3 DLC altogether. ''We're working on it'' means that they have not given up entirely yet.

When I went to pick up Assassins Creed 3, this seems to be the popular belief with everyone in the store. :P
If they think it's going to blow over with no announcements and it's all going to be all ok. Well that's just wow xD

I agree with it as well. They have nothing to show us, therefore I have no reason to believe they have done anything, I just want closure on it :3

I don't actually believe it means they have not given up yet. I believe it means they want us to believe they have not given up yet.

I think we will hear in Januruary how no DLC will be possible for the PS3.
I think if they were still working hard with Sony we would hear _something_ by now. But both Sony and Bethesda are completely silent.
