So I used to have 1 cow and 2 chickens in my animal pen. Eventually 1 chicken just disappeared. I don't know what happened to it. Second one died at the hands of a bandit. Eventually my cow died from a bandit attack too.

When I talk to my Steward, I only have the option to repurchase a cow... no chickens! D:
