It seems I am one of the victims having the problem of not being able to buy the house in Markarth, after I have completed all quests for the Jarl, and there is no dialog option to buy the house!?

Big fan ever since Morrowind, and I've waited almost 9 months to play Skyrim, because I knew it would be a bug festival. But this is just ridiculous guys! Such an easy to fix problem, not fixed 9 months after release?!

What happened to the promises of making "major" improvements to Skyrim that you posted on your blog a long time ago? Other than some "general stability" improvements, fixes for silly, well known, and reproducible bugs have just NOT been coming... that's not cool, chaps.

Did you help 5 people in his fifedom once you help them you should be able to buy the house and be a Thane.
