I put some points into blacksmithing hoping that it would unlock arrow crafting, but so far I have found absolutely no way of creating my own arrows. Is there one at all?

I don't think there is (haven't seen such an option either, at level 60ish in Smithing), but arrows are quite simple to find or buy.

Well maybe iron arrows are, but since I want to play as an archer exclusively it's disappointing that I'm not going to be able to craft rare and powerful arrows =/

You can craft bows right? Just checking to make sure. I agree that arrows would have been nice too.

Right, go to the "throat" where the dragon who masters the greybeards is... and find a way, by climbing and jumping all the way to the VERY peak as high as you can go, there you will find 2 ebony nodes you can mine

There is a perk that lets you double the amount of arrows you retrieve from dead bodies though. I'm not sure if that entails arrows you have shot them with or arrows theyhappen to be holding at the time.
