Can I cut off Ulfric's head?

Can I cut off Ulfric's head at the end of the battle for Windhelm?

My level 79 character has the Winterhold Bug. So even with Two-hand at level 100 plus perks I can't do it there unless the bug is fixed.

I restarted a game just to get the final CW achievement, but I didn't do a save for my level 15 character here.

Did anyone do a cut off Ulfric's head in the battle for Windhelm?

???

You can't. If you support the Stormcloaks, you can decapitate Rikke's head

Baaaahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!

Here it is ... all game ... heads rolling everywhere when one takes the decapitation perk. :starwars:

Then General Tullius says that Ulfic's head will hang from a pike at the capital.

Then Dragonborn gets the honor to finish Ulfric.

So Dragonborn uses his own fully perked, Legendary, Daedric Greatsword to finish Ulfric .. and ... all that happens to Ulfic is he "limps over"? :bunny: Sheeeesh! Wimpy after all the fighting! :shakehead:

The Empire is the paragon of disappointment. There is only satisfaction on the Stormcloak side

Oh I dont know, I found Ulfric kneeling before the might of his betters to be rather enjoyable. :D

But in all seriousness there is a small level of disappointment with it, it surely would give it a very profound sense of ending the war.

I found it enjoyable when I found Tullius kneeling like a coward and giving up when he lost instead of fighting back. I also laugh when he tried to surrender just to save his own life after all the boasting he did about beheading Ulfric. Ulfric at the very least goes to his death with grace while Tullius dies like a coward.

In one of my previous playthroughs, I played a Legion character. When the time came to deliver the final strike to Ulfric... I suddenly felt pity. There he was, kneeling in front of me, ready to die. I literally just stood there for about 2 minutes, thinking back about the (then) 70+ hours I had spent on this character and all the decisons I made for the last 70 hours... was this really the right thing to do? What have I done? I almost didn't want to kill him...

I put an end to his misery... but the victory didn't feel glorious at all.

Playing a Stormcloak character now, but haven't really advanced on the Civil War quests yet. I have yet to experience the ending to this side of the quest...

In his defence skyrim isn't even his home why should he have to die for being loyal and carrying out his orders? And when he was told that there was no way he would survive he did take it quite honorable IMO

Ulfric sliced off Tulius's head in my playthrough, if that's what you are asking. :shifty:

I wouldn't do it. I said that there had been enough killing that day, so Tullius did the deed. I felt sorry for Ulfric. One thing I didn't understand was, that when we entered the Palace there wasn't more Stormcloaks in there. It seems to me that they would have done that to protect Ulfric. Realistically, the place should have been packed to the gills.

Probably not... Galmar might be a candidate, though.

Through my first playthrough I went with the Stormcloaks..but now I'm going with the Legion, yet I can't help feeling bad since they did try and cut off my head "Nord in the rags..."
