Can't enter Whiterun

Post » Tue May 15, 2012 5:56 pm

So, my first slain dragon's skeletal remains are now blocking the entrance to Whiterun. Although the dragon was killed close to the Western watch tower, for some unknown reason it's remains have decided to lay rotting right in front of the city entrance. To add to this problem, tonight a dead giant also joined the dead fest and is now lying tangled up among the dragon's skeleton.

What the ****? :banghead:

Fast travel in and you'll load right on the bridge inside the gate.

Fast travel to Whiterun will put you inside the city gate, problem solved?

As I've heard those bodies are going to stay there for thirty in-game days, if you want to spend time waiting to get them cleared up.

I'm not fast-travelling, I don't play that way.

LOL? Complaining you can't enter a city but refusing to fast travel inside to fix it. You gave me a good laugh.

Maybe you can try that revive spell on the dead dragon and push it away

Well if you're that determined to play the game "realistically" then you may as well give up on entering Whiterun again for the next month. You totally lost any respect people had for your situation when you pulled that "I refuse to fast travel 20 feet" move.

The troll succeeded.

Wow. What an angle he used. Brilliant stuff. Set the trap perfectly and caught everyone in a swoop.

Proving that humour is difficult to convey on a forum. :P

On a related dragon skeleton note...my killed dragons seem to have a habit of dropping out of the sky at random occasions when I exit towns. It's quite amusing.

Also, proving humor should be funny or enlightening in the first place.

I decided I wasn't cruel enough to point that out. ;)
