Title about sums it up. I used to play this game under my husband's steam account, and had no issues like this. Granted, I hadn't downloaded Hearthfire or Dawnguard. I can equip things in my left hand all day long, but I can't equip spells, or weapons in my right hand. Help!

Update: So, I've found a way to equip something in my right hand (via the hotkey option. I use shift+hotkey to equip in my right hand), but even though I can see it in my hand, I can't use it. Right clicking does nothing at all.

I know this isn't my mouse, because it works perfectly on my computer, and in other games.
