I was switching my gear from pickpocket and sell gear to "Go kill stuff" gear....and it would not let me equip a ring.

I had a self made pickpockets ring equipped. I clicked on my archer's ring. and it did not equip. I clicked on other things in my inventory and I could equip and unequip.

I thought maybe it was just that one ring but my other ring did not work.

I freaked out and saved and closed game and started typing this!!

any help?


oh I am on PC.

Have you started the "Ill met by moonlight" quest? You might be wearing Hircine's Ring.

that was the problem!
