That is a Torch01, it's just off. If you look at 'Torch01' in the CK, you'll see that it can be carried. The issue is that it's on by default, so when you place them it's on. You could maybe make a script to attach to that specific torch that turns it off when the player loads into the cell?

Maybe there is a ready-made script?

Bump, I am interested too.

Don't really know what you would need to do in the script...the off torch only appears when you drop one from your inventory, so I don't think an equipitem would work (and I can't test right now)

Maybe a http://www.creationkit.com/Help "torch" 4 from the in-game console will do the trick?
Another way might be to use the Edit>Find Text feature in the CK?

You don't really need to bump until your thread is off the first page or 24 hours has passed... Just sayin'. :ermm:

The torch are off only when you drop them, but if you come back several days later, they are all "On". I have a lot of burning torch on the ground all over Tamriel.

Yea, but how to turn them off with the script?

Why do you need a not burning torch ?

Duplicate Torch01, rename it to Torch02 to be original, check "Off by default", and you have your not burning torch.

Just keep in mind, when picked up your new 'Torch02' wont stack with the regular 'Torch01' torches.

No one uses regular torches in Skyrim so i think it's not a problem.

Perhaps you could destinguish them by making them like, 'Quick Burning Torch' and setting their time to like 120 instead of 240? That way the player could at least destinguish between them and wouldn't be like 'Wtf they wont stack'.
