Can I get and cure Lycanthropy multiple times?

Post » Tue Nov 20, 2012 1:07 pm

I have recently purchased Dawnguard and I noticed you could get Aela to make you a werewolf again. I was wondering if I do become a werewolf again do I have to use the Glenmoril witch heads to cure myself again and am I able to become a werewolf and cure myself multiple times like with the Vampire Lord? Thanks :-)

I have had several random encounters but not contracted the disease from any of them. I am a VL so I doubt it would be possible for me to be changed without being "normal" first.

You do realize anyone can edit the wiki to say whatever they want.

well yes, they may have taken it out, or it was false, i hope it isnt though

either way, i think this should be tested, i think a good way to do it is to do the sinding quest in falkreath, he is a werewolf.

Random werewolf attacks are confirmed. I had a hunter transform on me one night and attack. Getting lycanthropy I don't know. I was already a werewolf at the time.

You can't. People in the past have had no disease resistance and have gotten mauled by werewolves and have not gotten lycanthropy. You also forget that lyncanthropy in Skyrim is magical in nature and not a disease like in previous game since you need to dump a hag's head into a cauldron to cure Skyrim lycanthropy. I swear people on these forums are too gullible. This reminds me of the werebear incident. I swear I could post that there was a wild werebear encounter and you could get werebear lycanthropy from there and people would believe it.
