I just finsihed my house in Heljarchen hall and I was seeeing if I wanted anything else before I moved on to my next house.. I wanted to put in some animals becasue I wan't each house to be different from my others.. I can put up a pen but when I ask lydia to buy me a Cows and Chickens she tells me to put up an animal pen..

I wasted 600 gold ( 60 sawn logs ) and have the pen with the hay and everything but wont allow me to get the animals..

This is for ps3, If anyone knows anyway to get it or am i just not going to get animals for that house ?

I haven't developed there yet but when I was building Lakeview Manor I would often fast travel there and when I would go to the workbench it would ask if I wanted to build things I already built with the animal pen being one of them. Maybe you can force the animal pen to register if you build it again. Worth a shot since I don't otherwise know why Lydia would be denying you.
