Can't get into Skyrim need suggestions

I really love oblivion and I really wanted to love Skyrim too but a few things have been bothering me.

I was hoping there would be a mod to fix this first issue for me because it's a game breaker (for me personally) but I haven't been able to find one.

Basically I want a mod that allows me to cast spells with a hot key regardless of whether my hands are available like in Oblivion. I found combat in Oblivion more dynamic and fun because it wasn't simply only spells are only hacking away at the enemy. I do not want to have to switch out my weapons every time I want to cast a spell. Is there a mod that makes spell casting more like oblivion? Also for the record I do not care if there are any animations associated with spell casting with this mod I just want the functionality.

This brings me to my next point. I find being a pure spell caster very lacking in Vanilla Skyrim. My spells don't get very powerful compared to the melee route. Can anyone recommend a mod that makes spells more potent but not overpowered even if you don't have all the perks in a specific tree? I don't like the fact my spells are very weak without perks even if I maxed out the spell school skill.

This brings me to yet another point. It's impossible to really be good at everything in this game because of the limited amount of perks. That's fine from a balance perspective but at the same time it makes combat very boring and one dimensional compared to Oblivion or Morrowind. I'm either hacking and slashing with nothing inbetween (Unless I want to cast weak un-perked spells) or I'm a pure caster who has very underpowered spells (At higher levels they are underwhelming compared to the melee route) with little melee options. So basically is there a mod that let's me reset my perks without having to start a new character? I don't want anything fancy just something that simply lets me reset my perks.

Could anyone recommend me mods that would let me do the things I want? I really want to enjoy Skyrim for the lore and new single player experience but I feel I can't because of my concerns without the appropriate mods. Thanks for any help!

You should probably have posted this in the mod section.
Anyway, you aren't the only one who misses the quick cast button in Oblivion. I think the devs were too proud of their "different colored glowing orb" approach to spells. The criticism of Destruction magic is a common complaint around here. The spell effects fail to scale in a way that keeps Destruction interesting.
Personally, I don't mind that I can't master every skill. I don't like how skill mastery means perks with %modifiers, though. I think that was the wrong approach.

More Hotkeys Please.
Midas Magic
Better Magic/Balanced Magic
SPERG/Skyrim Requiem
Dragonborn DLC at end of main quest allows you to reset perk trees.Otherwise you can try Spend Dragon Souls for Perks.

I agree with your consensus on the destruction school. I was so excited for this game right before it came out but the combat system just devestated me. I was really let down.

Could a mod move this to the mods forum or am I allowed to repost it?

Just PM a mod and I'm sure they would oblige. Most if not all of what you are asking has been addressed by modders so I'm optimistic that you'll find some fixes that improve the game for you. By the way, welcome to the forums. http://static.tumblr.com/bd0bwas/YnCm9sv1z/have_a_fishy_stick__higher_quality.png
