Can't get into this game.

The voice-acting is great.

But besides that....GOOD FOR YOU. We really don't need to know why you aren't playing the game.

I completely agree with the OP, quests and story are majorly lacking in this game, i don't feel the excitement and emotional attachment I felt with the characters in Fallout 3 or Oblivion. And sorry to say, but most the quests I've done so far are just flat out boring, and uninteresting. I've waited so long for this game, and my unbiased opinion and real thoughts just feels like this is Oblivion 1.5... with a worse storyline, and way worse guild questlines...

/sigh

And can someone PLEASE explain to me why side quests don't have their own questlog like they all had in Oblivion? They just threw all the sidequests in the Misc section, with literally like 6 words describing what you need to do...

I love the voice acting in this game. The dialogue isn't as great as Dragon Age but it's still fine. One of my favorite video game moments in a long time is Ulfric Stormcloak's speech in Windhelm in the Palace of Kings when you first meet him. Epic. If after 20 hours you're not enjoying it then maybe it's just not for you, sorry. I have 50 hours logged and have people inviting themselves over to my house just to watch me play, haha.

It's not for everybody. I personally loved Fallout 3 and New Vegas (Yes, you read that right), I also loved Morrowind, Oblivion and now, Skyrim. As i said, the game is not for anybody. But give it a a try, maybe you'll get into it after all. You'll notice if it's not for you, give it another 5-10 hours, and then decide what you think. Explore the world, try the sidequests, craft weapons, get into main quest, try out some dungeons, visit towns :) You shouldn't force it, but try at least!

This is what invalidates your opinion.

i'm only 20 hours in and have become bored.
You have already played it longer, than some other games last and gathering dust on a shelf after one play through.

I think that because most of the Misc quests are radiant. So they couldn't have named them. Most sidequests do have their own quest log though.
