Can we get a respec option with Dawnguard?

Well can we? I mean we've all probably gotten perks we shouldn't have gotten and the DLC would be a good opportunity to add a respec option in.

I don't think so. It'd reduce the purpose of many perks. Supposedly you fill the new trees through other means, so don't worry! :)

It defeats the purpose of the perk trees...

If you went to college for 5 years and suddenly decided you would have rather put all that work into learning to paint do you think you would get a refund?

Skyrim is a realistic fantasy game. (yea, i know dragons and all, butthe graphics and gameplay are meant to be realistic)

Unless your character has the magical ability to forget what they have learned by experience and instantaneously learn something out of nowhere then it doesnt make sense.

If you want a different perk layout make a different character.

There is no level cap, if you are at 81 it is because you have 100 in everything.

The new perk trees do not affect your level.

Why would you even want it raised? At 81 you can destroy anything easily.

The game was specifically designed where you cannot experience everything in one playthrough, make two or three characters covering the different perk trees.

All this "Respecing" and "Raise teh level cap!" sounds too MMO to me.

I think that is the problem, too many players have been fed this BS that rpg's are all about acheiving level 100.

I personally go back and forth on my opinion of this. Yes it would be nice to respend some of my perks, but it sure doesn't make sense logically to be able to do it. Making several characters is a good way to be able to experience a lot more perks.
