I think he would be a great steward, but his listing in UESP does not have him listed as a steward candidate, sorry.

That is a pity... as a follower he's a real brick, and I'm sure he would be more than capable of making the leap from guarding a load of cat-people filled tents to managing a middling estate. The only problem I can see would be the minor irritation of having him say "something smells foul..." every time you let the laundry pile up.

I suppose I'll chalk it up as another reason to be not quite so dissapointed in Hearthfire's non-appearance on my PS3... if somebody tells me people can have J'Zargo as a steward however, I shall be inconsolable.

But wouldn't it be his job, as steward, to see the laundry is done? Along with getting me a few chickens, finishing the kitchen wing, buying groceries, and cleaning the stable?

But I agree - Kharjo is my favorite follower. And after I built my estate near Morthal, he's great for slaughtering the bandits that keep spawning there. Too bad he can't be steward, though.

as you know by now, he can't be a steward, but to that, I say MAZEL TOV!

He is by far the coolest follower in the game. I thought he'd died during the Defense of Whiterun part of the Civil War quest and I practically got choked up!

Awww... I'd love the option of having a Khajiit steward. That way my Khajiit would at least have a buddy to live with.
