I have been having a problem with my installation. I have installed and reinstalled and I still cannot get my game to even play. I cant get past my desktop, the most this game has done is make the hourglass appear next to my cursor. I have been in contact with EA tech support (not that helpful), they gave me a digital copy but that give me the same problem. I have also seen a few post's that say to copy the .exe file from the disk after installation. I have tried and I get the same problem. If I try to launch the game from the bin32 folder I get the message

"the application has not been installed correctly. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem"

I haven't been able to play this game since it was released. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know. I am very excited to play Crysis 2.

I have. I have even gone as far as to completely reformat and update everything. I know people are having a smiler problem when running AVG. I know it gets flagged as a virus. I am using Microsoft security essentials.

Then i am out of suggestions. disable ALL your antiviruses when installing and see if that helps.
