Ok I was moving some stuff around building my campsite when Aela got in the way and now if I press E to start a dialog I only hear a clicking sound. However if I do some weird stuff with the mouse I can get to a "Wait there" command and apparently point to where I want her to wait and she will go there. How do I get out of.. its like a command mode, and back to where E actually engages the NPC? This is on PC.

Actually I didn't know about commanding followers now I do, but I'm still having a problem. I can get out of command mode but she will not react to me pressing E and sometimes the usual "Press E to talk" or whatever it says, doesn't come up right away. Any help is appreciated.

Press back, whatever key it may be. On PS3 it's circle.

Tab gets you out of command mode and I can do that and the crosshair goes back to normal, but I still can't engage her in dialog.

She is glitched. I just told her to wait then I left, waited over 48 hours for her to get tired and go home. She goes home and I meet her there. She's standing downstairs in breezehome with her arms out wide and won't move or say anything. I wait until 8 when she goes to her market booth (spouse life mod) and she glides to her booth with her arms out and when i try to engage her in dialog she just keeps saying, "yes dear?". I fear i've lost my game and all the saves are after this problem occurred.

Anyway to force a NPC to open a dialog menu? Commands via the console, anything?
