So, I'm toying with the idea of trying an Unarmed build (Probably Khajiit, for the Claws bonus), and while I know that unarmed fighting doesn't actually level-up the one-handed skill, but I'm wondering if it might be affected by perks in it.

I've founded conflicting arguments claiming both 'yes' and 'no' online, and was wondering if anybody here knew more.

Certainly the Elder Scrolls Wikia pages seem to claim that One-Handed perks DO effect unarmed combat: http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/One-Handed

But I do tend to find some of their contents to be somewhat unreliable.

Anybody tried this, themselves?
