So, the Nord women are strong and can rip you apart, in fact, women of all the races can be really strong and dangerous, however, they don't look like it.

The men in the game look really strong but the women look more like fashion models having a shoot with medieval armor. I know it's not a big deal but I can't help myself having a bit of a laugh when these female bandits come running towards me.

That second picture looks like a redguard not a nord.

Not really a flaw, they look fine.

If your on PC on skyrim nexus, someone got the male muscle meshes and textures and adapted to feminine body so Human and female warriors can truly be strong.

My grandma at 70 had more strenght than the wemens in skyrim at 20.

All I can tell you is that I know who I'd rather look at ingame.

I sort of torn on this. On one hand they should have added more "muscular" women builds to the game, and on the other hand I'm glad they don't look like the woman in the first pic.

But I tried to make a female character yesterday. Put the weight slider all the way to the right and she still had no muscles whatsoever.
And then you try this with a male, preferably an Elf, and they look like freaking bears...

I dunno, looks more lean than strong. I want girls with bigger volume, or weaker girls.

This is one of the few, very few, games where the men have much much more detail on them than the women do. Really the male models in the game are rich, varied, and well mapped...right down to the realistic veins on there arms.

It seems like the women all have a uniform model, the same for every race, no matter what. Hell even Orc women, have those sknny little arms that don't look like they could raise a two hander at all.

Some of the armor graphics change that but just barely, most of them don't look like they could chop wood let alone kill a dragon. It might be fine for a mage sure, but not so much for wielding dual battle axes.

To me this isn't sixist (I'm a lady actually) as much as it's about aesthetics.This is a genuine gripe to me.

I admire Bethsdas way of making the 'faces' varied and interesting.

Women in Skyrim are not all supermodels. Some look tired, old, plain, or just normal...however it the bodies of those women, the skinny little frames for them all, that gets to me a bit.

We need a bit more variety to the females models, perhaps one with muscle texture and scars.

I'm fine with how women look in Skyrim: some are hawt, some are normal, some are kinda ugly. I like this kind of variety. I don't want a game where everyone is a magazine model but I don't want a game where everyone is superugly either.

But I agree. Adding a large built, muscolar body set for women would be a nice addition. Adding another layer of variety to the npcs!
