I can't start "Kindred Judgement"

Post » Fri Nov 16, 2012 2:23 am

I played through the mission Touching the Sky, defeating Vyrthur and receiving Auriel's bow, and it says I've completed the mission, but i was never given the quest Kindred Judgement.

Anyone able to help me with this?

Thanks in advance

I'm having the very same issue. I also posted a topic about this, but haven't gotten a response. I'll leave mine open as well, and if I get a response, I'll let you know.

I'll keep trying to fix it myself in the meantime.

Okay, this may be a stupid question, but you didn't say anything else on the matter:

After you completed the Touch the Sky quest, and when it says "completed", it updates and says talk to Serana. Did you talk to her?

The quest is supposed to appear before you talk to Serana. The quest never pops up in his log, and there's no dialogue option with Serana.

At least, this was how mine was.

Hmmm, with mine the quest didn't pop up until after I talked to Serana, because I had to ask her "Now what?" Then she told me and the quest "Kindred Judgement" popped up.

It seems like a few others are having your problem too. I don't suppose you have an earlier save do you? It might be worth backtracking into an earlier save and see if it triggers.

I'm having the same problem. Does anyone know if a patch is coming out for this bug?

To the players encountering this problem, which side of the questline are you playing on? Dawnguard or Volkihar? Have you tried talking to either Isran or Lord Harkon (depending on which side you're on)?

I'm playing as a Vampire Lord and I tried talking to Lord Harkon already. It doesn't work when I tried that. Any other suggestions?
