Hey guys I just ordered the Y400 gaming laptop for a bargain price (see this thread: http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1441544-excellent-deal-on-a-gaming-laptop/).

While I'm sure it can pretty much run any game with it's 1366x768 max resolution I want to know how well it will handle some intensive mods. These mods include MGSO 3.0 for Morrowind, Nehrim OR Hi Resolution Textures, Oblivion Graphics Extender and Better/Open Cites for Oblivion and a similar setup for Skyrim.

If it can't run such intensive mods out of the box note that I do plan on upgrading the components down the line.

So what are my chances of maxing out TES games on this laptop?

Try and it see? It's kind of hard to predict how certain mods will run.

And I wouldn't bother wasting money on any of those upgrades, they aren't going to make a big difference.
