If you preordered on Steam, then you'll be able to play the instant it unlocks in your timezone (because everything will be preloaded prior to this). But physical copies will need to be delivered by late evening on Nov. 10, for instant play at unlock time.

I JUST got an email from GAME saying my order has been shipped.... "Your order has been dispatched" So... It could be here by wednesday really... Omfg...

If your on PC you have to wait anyway. If you're on console, just dont post about it until 11.11.11 as they have an embargo on all video's and imformation until then.

Those who preordered physical copies and don't have Steam currently installed, go to the steam site and install it now and get familiarized with it (one less thing to do on unlock day).

I preorder all my games through a local retailer. I get a tracking #, and an email,when they are shipped. Out of 10 preorders, only 1 arrived the day before. The rest will sometimes get as afr as the district shipping hub, and sit on a shelf for two days, until the release date. It is then put on a truck for delivery.

So, I wouldn't get too excited.

I don't wish to sound as if i'm trying to rub anyones nose in it , i'm not. but i have always used GAME and its always came on thursday, i don't see any diff this time. so if you do use GAME then i think thats when it willl come :shrug:

hope my email comes soon, sarting to worry. Well got an email yesterday basically saying the same stuff the order confirmation email states (billing address, payment etc). I chose in store pick up, would my email come on the day or would I still be notified when it gets dispatched to the store?

They have a press embargo - they have no embargo rights over customers.

GAME sent mine yesterday! Im soo excited I really hope I get it wednesday or thursday but lately GAMe has been putting yellow tape around the big release games saying something like 'do not deliver until __/__/__ ' in this case 11/11/11

Xbox 360 and PS3 (which makes a vast majority of the sales) don't use Steam activation.

I got my "shipped" email too.

I know that Royal Mail doesn't hold back orders (they just process what they have), and in my processing office it's not that busy at all, so I expect to be receiving it early. :celebration:

Turns out that I didn't get Special Delivery, which is probably a blessing seeing as I'll be working in Special Delivery next week and it's more than my job's worth to take it early.

really? i have been buying from GAME online for 3 years and this last couple weeks got 4 new releases off them and no yellow tape! your joking right?

I'm such a pessimist, I have the game pre-ordered, but I just know it will arrive later, like on Monday or something... Never pre-ordered anything before, so I could be dead wrong.

Same here in Europe.. Some ppl will get it early and some not.

BUT what makes me so angry/sad is this: If i get it early (Amazon deliver it most of the time a day before release) then i can do NOTHING with it. Because its the PC-version!

It svcks that the restriction of the 11-11-11 date just goes for the pcgamers..

and yeah.. i whine. Because its so near, but not near enough
