well they could just be normal, i think the game explains that the dragonborn is blessed by akatosh(maybe not akatosh but one of the divines for certain) and that is what gives them the power of the voice and the ability to absorb dragon souls.

What? You haven't heard? The Dragonborn's father was a member of the Black Hand, a Speaker, named Pontius. His wife gave birth to the Dragonborn, but with the Great War going on, they fled Cyrodiil, while Pontius stayed with the Dark Brotherhood.

My character is Andoral and his parents are Astar and Eurora they are an old Altmer family. My character was born as a Dragonborn and threw the beginning events in Skyrim and the first fight with the dragon we come to find out we have been blessed as the Dovahkiin. It's called roleplaying Beth games are great at letting you do this.

Hmm... This topic makes me wonder if there are really people who wanted Bethesda to determine the background of our characters. The fan-rage would be palpable but I suppose there are a few that want a more DA2-like experience...

Anyhoo, I don't make Dragonborn characters. Very boring and generic storyline to be honest but the point is to use a wee-bit of creativity to fill in the blanks of his/her past.

He probably has some stashed away, anyways. Why else does he sit on top of a mountain all day and hang around a bunch of old men? They got some of the most explicit volumes of the Lusty Argonian Maid and even a forbidden book series called Dibella's Words of Loving Wisdom.
