Can't unlock shouts : V

Has anyone else experienced this? I've got 7 dragon souls but I'm unable to unlock several of my shouts. The message pops up saying that dragon souls are required to unlock shouts. Is 7 not enough?

As said above, you need to select the shout then press X to use a soul to unlock each word in a shout (You can unlock just 1 or 2 words in a shout if you don't want to unlock all 3).

I probably played 15+ hours before realizing how to unlock them. :sadvaultboy:

Took me awhile as well. When I finally figured it out I literally facepalmed myself.... Same thing when I figured out the Golden Claw quest puzzle, lol.

I don't believe it. I have a level 27 Orc warrior and I have given up on trying to unlock shouts because have killed over 15 dragons and have not been able unlock a single shout bar the first two. If my Orc wasn't so green he would turn bright red with embarrassment.
