Aldar: The 'T' key is the WAIT feature...so you can specify how much time to just stay in one spot, for example if you arrive at a location before others like in the mage training at Saarthal. I have not seen 'T' appear in any of the game menus/prompts. Have you reassigned it to a different feature? Where are you seeing 'T' being required to press?
Unmmph!: I just downloaded and installed Skyrim yesterday, so I would assume that Steam delivered the updated version. How do I check to see what version I am using? And, the other problem key is 'E' as I indicated in my post...the default assignment is Activate, but menus sometimes use it for Equip/Use/Read Item and in some menus as in the example I gave where 'E' is the prompt but the key you need to press is the one that you mapped to Activate.
ndervish: Where are you seeing a prompt for 'R' where pressing 'R' doesn't do what the menu/prompt is saying it will do? As I mentioned in my post the other problem is that some menus will prompt for the Ready/Sheath key when in fact you need to press the Activate key which by default is 'E'. So, if the prompt is 'R', 'E', or 'F' and pressing that key doesn't work, then try one of the other 2 keys in that set or if you have remapped then try the keys you have mapped to Activate, Ready/Sheath, or 1st/3rd Person Camera.
The main problem is of course it being a console port. But, when they went to port it they should have counted the number of keys on a standard keyboard...there are 26 letter keys, but not only did gamesas only use 15 of them they also re-used half of them for different things depending on the context. Not to mention that with ALT and CTRL there are 78 letter valued key-strokes on a standard PC keyboard.
