Can you make clothes for a mage ?

Post » Sat Dec 22, 2012 8:37 pm

I see lots of references in various wiki to the extensive lists of light and heavy armor. I have young mage (level 6) who has stumbled on some cloting that has magical properties. However I cannot find references to MAKING clothing for a mage character. Could someone please educate me on whether this is possible...and how to proceed....if you can

Thank you.

You can only craft clothing with the use of mods. That is if you are on the PC.

The vanilla game only allows crafting of Heavy and Light Armor at a forge.

If you find an enchanted piece of armor that you like the magical properties, the you can disenchant it at an enchanting table. Once you have that, then you can apply the enchantment to any piece of clothing you wish.

Eventually making a more powerful enchantment than the one you found, pending your skill level and perk selection.
