Post » Tue Nov 20, 2012 6:55 am

For whatever reason my female breton cannot wear the guildmaster's hood after gaining vampirism. When i equip it it makes her partially bald. ANyone else have this problem.

I have that problem, too, so don't worry. You can wear almost any other hood, though, so it is ok. I wear a mages hood, but the shrouded cowls work well, too.

I think all races besides beast races suffer this bug. My Khajiit is unaffected, though.

You would think this issue would of been resolved that they knew that Dawnguard would be a Vampire Dlc

As a vampire, the following hoods all glitch as a vampire and leave your character bald:
- Thieves Guild Hood (2 versions)
- Linwe's Hood
- Guild Master's Hood

It does allow you to wear another helmet/head item though, I've exploited this to wear the shrouded hood (the best looking hood in the game) a circlet and the TG hood to remain light armor perks. It's not overpowered as the hood is purely aesthetic, my armor rating is poor and the circlet helps as I'm missing out bonuses granted by robes.

You can also wear as many of the listed hoods as you want, you can put all four of the above hoods on at once if you want to.

Well, man and mer races all got glowing eyes, and even if the beast races didn't get glowing eyes (which makes me :() at least my Khajiit is immune to the baldness glitches!

Or at least give vamps an easy way to get a hold of our own vamp hood in the dlc. I'm not even sure you can get the dlc vamp hood on the vampire side of the quest line. Only from the mysterious traveler, have never seen him.
