I seem to remember reading that you could pick up torches that were on the wall in a cave. I am trying to get a torch and can't figure out how to take it. I'm on PC.

i have only found 4 tourches.

I found one torch in my inventory while selling crap, but I don't think you can equip it, so it's just vendor trash. I mighty be wrong.

You can totally equip torches, though I've only found a couple.

I have found torches on the floor of dungeons, in barrels (very rarely), etc. I haven't been able to take a torch off the wall either, only put them out. The best place to get torches is to pick pocket town guards, as they all have 1 torch to use when it gets dark outside.

The torch scarcity isn't a big deal. First, I'm 13 hours in and haven't seen a torch burn out once so far. Second, the lighting in the game in almost every area is good enough to see by without a torch. Third, if you really need light, the Candlelight spell is insanely cheap and low level.

only torch ive found was in a crate in the first dungeon.

honestly, i havent had the need for a torch yet...
