Can you see Update.esm in your Data Files in the Launcher?
I have only Skyrim.esm in Data Files. Should I have Update.esm too?

Both files are in C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\skyrim\Data
but only one is visible in Data F

It's a special file, and no it doesn't show up. That's how it's supposed to work.
