You were pretending in Fallout 3 ;)

And no, you can't. Thank god. I don't care if it's fashionable, it's just silly.

Nope.
You could get a perk which gave you +20hp from health packs instead of +1.
Does not mean you became a vampire nor that those people were vampires for that matter.

Must have been a mod. Blood packs just gave health, more if you got on the Bloodsvcking humans good side. Note, I did not say vampire for a reason, because they weren't vampires.

You could get the vampire perk but it wasn't like you need to drink blood packs. It just made them better for healing. And you couldn't go around and drink people's blood.

No sir, thats a negative. There were a group of "vampires" that harass Arefu, they never called themselves that, they say they are just cannibals that don't partake in the eating of the meat, just the blood. But, you can't.

Actually, yes, you can be a vampire. What you do is...

Spoiler
...buy The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. I know it says The Elder Scrolls on the box, but you can tell its a Fallout gsame because they have the exact same gameplay and graphics. Anywho, you escape the Vault (They call it a prison, but you can tell its a Vault experiment because a real Emperor wouldn't have small society of goblins living under a real prison) and you join the Dark Brotherhood of Steel. (Which is like the regular Brotherhood of Steel, but dark.) Anyway, you do some jobs for them and eventually the local Vampire makes you a vampire as well. Bear in mind, vampires in Fallout are actually reverse ghouils, which means that instead of absorbing radiation, it actually burns them, including natural radiation from the sun. They also must feed on the genetic material of normal humans because it keeps their own mutation in check. And voila! Fallout Vampire!

There needs to be a Ghoulification perk.

Won't work.
They'd have to create at least 40% more dialogue and get every voice actor back into the studio and pay them for their work.
All for one perk.
Won't happen.

I think it would be a better Trait, since as a ghoul, you'd probably be over 200 years old... like Dracula.

It could be implemented if there was a part of the game where you had to be ghoulified. Not sure how they could justify it but hey, you never no. Maybe the ending you become feral and get shot by the lone wanderer.

How's that for pre-school fan fic

Oh, I had forgotten about her. Then I suppose it could be a Perk, but as someone just said, it would pain to redo the dialogue. Still, if they did, it would be a very interesting gameplay option. Heck, simply ignoring radiation would be a blessing.

Thankfully, this game is blissfully free from metrosixual emo characters such as 'vampires'. I'm sure it's easy to whip up a mod that makes your character sparkle, though, if that's your thing.
