This could potentially be either glorious, or disastrous.

Time to wait for the inevitable anti-EA posts. *Prepares to feed off of negativity.*

I will assume disastrous until proven otherwise. But its not like I am gonna be like, EA is the worst and this is the worsttt.. I lost all hope in Star Wars games. To me they don't exist so this just adds to a large list of ignored games.

I found it on other sites, though. It's based off job postings at EA, which some sites think may just be for the StarWars game Visceral Studios is making...

Anything new and Star Wars brings up nothing but meh. I feel it's all downhill now. I'm not even holding out hope the new battlefront will be any good.

Edit

My new Avenger in Star Citizen!!!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aVaR1wHRWX0

Then I see Star Wars.... and I go? Star who?

Edit2

Yes these are in game graphics folks, still plenty of alpha slots to go. Patch in a few weeks that will add a starship weapons and thruster testing area. So you can mount those 2 meter long mini guns into a mount and have some target practice. Later on will be good for overclocking and tweaking your guns/thrusters/mods/parts/ect.

I will only give a high-pitched "Ehhhhhhhh" for the time being. I will probably maintain that because I don't like Star Wars anyway. Oh, and since EA just dumbs down their games all the time for the casuals, this will probably be another cover shooter.

Spoiler
I should probably note that was sarcasm, just in case.

Oh man I'm sure we won't be let down like when EA was developing that open world LotR game White Council. Surely nothing will go wrong.

Because the last big Starwars project that EA was affiliated with ended so well.

Don't get me wrong, i love Star Wars, hell, even my avatar is SW-related. I want this to do well, but my expectations aren't that high for two reasons: 1: Disney. 2: EA.

meh, only real Star Wars game I am looking forward to is the Battlefront reboot.. used to love Battlefront 1& 2
(and even then, I only played the Rebels vs. Empire Maps.. as far as I am concerned, the prequel trilogy and all things related to it never happened)

can we gamers, as a part of human society, stop using the term "casual" as a derogatory statement?
it just makes us all sound like we suffer from a Superiority Complex...

Uh, I actually hate that term and was using it to make fun of the typical "hardcoe" gamer. I pointed out that it was sarcasm so I would avoid a misunderstanding this time.

I have to agree. I can't respect people who seriously use 'casual' to define some non-existent class of gamer to blame all the industry's woes on. I sometimes refer to casual gamers, but only in the respect of people who casually pick up a game they can start and stop on a whim, however I don't like to mention it for fear of sounding like 'Y U NO NEKBEERD LIEK US! FILTY CAZUAL!' types.

I will be pleasantly surprised if it turns out to be something I like. Most (but not all fortunately) of the Star Wars games of the past ~15 years been pretty bad. So yeah, I'm a bit pessimistic about it

What I want to happen to Star Wars the most, is to see the original trilogy released on blu-ray (not newer edited versions).

Except for its ending, I think Republic Commando was one of the best SW Games I've ever played. Jedi Outcast was fun as well

I hate EA..I won't buy anything from them out of close-minded hatred and spite. I'll borrow it from a friend though

EA Canada- We're sorry we're being rude and selling you this half-finished game and calling the locked content 'New DLC', but that's business, eh?

I feel people give to much flack to Disney, but I can see EA turning it into a pay to have this integral character in this story, looking at you bioware...
