Candlelight

With some luck on my side, I discovered this spell very early on, even before I set foot in Riverwood. What I found was an 'everlasting' companion. A little bulb of light, dancing around you faithfully and illuminating the dark world of Skyrim, a glimmering hope I might add.

I know it doesn't protect me but it certainly makes the journey less lonely, knowing I can summon it anywhere and anytime I desire. I never would have assumed I'd grow fond of something like this in Skyrim. Does anyone associate a similar attachment to an item/spell/weapon?

To add to the this I found an abandoned shack with a huge bear in it after attacking it with a little magic it ran off but was still nearby. I cast Candlelight and it eventually stayed away. Apparently bears don't like magic...

I love that candlelight spell too.
And the depressing atmosphere made it all the more special.

I grew rather attached to the dagger I used to kill the final target in the DB questline. To the extent I refused to kill anyone else with it. So I have hung it up on the weapon rack in my room in the sanctuary.
