Cannot Marry Khajiit

Post » Thu May 10, 2012 9:37 pm

Alright. Now, I've enjoyed skyrim so far, but theres one thing, one thing that just aggrivates me endlessly.

I cannot marry my Khajiit Waifu. There are no marriable Khajiit.

What the heck Bethesda? Did you really cave into people calling it bestiality? Im ashamed, and greatly disheartened.

What truely hurts is knowing I have to rely on some sub par, unvoiced mods for this, or I have to wait for...

DLC.

The anger

Are you sure about that?

I mean, it's a pretty large game, and I seem to remember them saying that every race was represented in marriage options. My assassin character isn't so much into the marriage thing, so I haven't bothered experimenting.

Marrying seems useless anyway.

So far all the lists around show no khajiit; not male nor female. It isn't looking to good.

Keep in mind that the game's been out for a few days, and most people are busy playing it instead of telling other people what they did.

How do you know there is no marriage option for a Khajiit when the game has been out for two days?

I read the spoilers about who you can marry and Shyion is right, there aren't any Khajiit options. Seems silly, since some people will play as Khajiit. I think every other race (even Argonian) are represented. I hope the website I read that from is wrong, and Khajiit romance options just haven't been found yet.

Strategy guide confirms that you can't marry anyone from this race, unfortunately.

I wonder why they were the only race ignored? Seems a bit odd to just exclude them. I plan on rolling a Khajiit (3rd playthrough) and I'm a bit disappointed that I can't find a special someone of the same race.

And it can't be because of them being a beast race, I read that Argonians have 3 (1. Female and 2 males) marriage options.

Nail in the coffin to this, painfully.

The worst part is, its not going to get patched in or anything. Bethesda would never do that, for various reasons.

So I got a choice of buying DLC or Using a unvoiced, lower quality mod.

And I was thinking Skyrim was so great. just want my Waifu, Bethesda.

It's wife. Not waifu. I don't care if it's an internet meme, learn to spell correctly on boards. Ugh. -.-

Also, I don't see the point of marrying in Skyrim... Other than for the trophy. I'll reload an earlier file once I marry up whoever will be my spouse.

Your right. They shouldn't of added marriage, brawling, cooking, fires, tree chopping, mining, and all that dialog.

Who wants immersion, amirite

Just double checked, and the available spouse options is very odd.

29 Nord options?!.....I know this game takes place in their homeland, but damn! Is that many options really needed? Also a bit surprised that Redguards only have one option. I mean Orcs have more options then Khajiit and Redguards combined?!

Could you PM me the Argonian options? I'm not getting the guide for another week, maybe two.

I have a big soft spot for Khajiit in this game, as well as Argonians. That being said, I'm a bit bummed that I can't have my male Khajiit marry that male Argonian in the Dark Brotherhood.

It's strange. I don't see any difference between Khajiit marriage and Argonian marriage, if you get my meaning. It's not like there's hardcoe six in the game, so...

Bethesda obviously doesn't want to encourage Furries. :whistling:

But in all seriousness, I've been playing for nearly 30 hours and I can count the beast NPCs I've encountered using just my fingers. So few Khaijiit or Argonians . . . .

http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/MysteriousWaif

he clearly wants to marry someone who has came from no where from obscurity, dont question his spelling (even though he did mess up by puttign u at the end of it)

I laughed. Had no idea waif was a word.

Methinks it's time for one of those viral net petitions. :D

I'm confused as to why marriage options are limited to certain characters. Just make it any named NPC who isn't married (being a home breaker eats a lot of voice acting time). From a programming POV I can't see any issue with doing that.
