Canon Gender for each Fallout?

Post » Sun Mar 27, 2016 9:00 am

I'm curious if anyone here could give me some clear cut info on the protagonists gender for each Fallout title. I've heard Fallout 1 is canon male, the others I'm not so sure.

Any help appreciated!

The only one to have a canon gender as far as I know so far is the Vault Dweller who is confirmed male in 2 iirc.

Bruce Isaac in New Vegas talks about Mr. Bishop and says likes to wonder the wasteland. This suggests that the Chosen One was also male and he had six with one of the Bishop women.

The Vault Dweller is the only one with an indisputable canon gender - there's a giant statue dedicated to him in the NCR.

With all RPGs, its generally assumed that male face default 1 is the canon protagonist. In fantasy RPGs, is usually male face default 1, who is a warrior class, that is canon.

So far, everything seems to suggest that the progtags of Fo1, 2, and 4 are men in canon.

Most promotional pictures for Fallout 3 had a male Lone Wanderer.

Guess that leaves the Courier left?

NV used the same male default face 1 for most of its promo material as Fo3 did.
