It weights 20 pounds! i have done the quest but stil have the scroll . any ideas?

I was just looking around on the forums and you can drop it by finding the book keeper in winterhold collage. Sorry for wasting your time also I found this out from looking at dark soldier308 comment.

I believe I saw somewhere that you can sell it to the Orc inside library area in the college of Winterhold. For 2000 gold, even!

You can give the elder scroll to the urgag or whatever the orcs name is in the mages guild library. He pays you quit handsomely for it
