i have just received the quest where i have to go and kill some traitor, and i was told to go to tonilia to replace my armor.
the problem is that she cant because i sold my thief armor to her sometime ago.

now that i dont have how to get it back from her, i cant give it to her so she can upgrade it. not that i care about the armor, but now she wont sell anything to me.
all that she does is to tell me about that piece of armor.

what can i do? i am on the pc version so i can use a cheat if someone has one.

nothing? i went early to riften just to be able to sell stolen stuff and it's stupid that i cant sell stolen stuff anymore
maybe somebody still has the first pieces of the thief guild armor and can see the id numbers of them so i can spawn them?

Not on PC so I can't help you with the IDs. I know someone else had this same problem a day or two ago. Try searching variants of "thieves guild armor lost/sold/etc." and maybe you'll find that thread. I dunno if he actually figured it out but it's worth searching for. After a couple of weeks, I'm sure UESP will have some helpful info, but for now you'll have to be patient. I don't know if there's currently a known workaround (other than to spawn the items with the console on PC).
