Cant sleep or rest.

Hey there. Basically no matter what I do in Skyrim I can't wait or sleep. At first I thought it might have to do with something in game with a quest or an item I was wearing but I have checked and it's not. I can't sleep anywhere wither it's my own bed or not my own. I also cant wait anywhere I just get this message You cannot rest in this location.

Sounds like the game thinks that you are in a combat state all the time, that's why it doesn't let you rest. Try loading a previous save or go and complete a quest in an area that's far away from where you are. Can you fast travel?

I found one place where I could not wait. I think it was in the big room at the college. No problem anywhere else. Beds you can not sleep in do not show in red when you try. If it says owned, I believe you have to stay out.

I can fast travel yes. I have tried it in many different areas as well resting that is. I also tried getting arrested and serving my time. I can't sleep in a room I rent in the Inn neither can I sleep in my houses bed. Cant wait anywhere. There is no way to pass time other than fast travel.

Tried a few other things such as getting arrested and trying to break out etc still no luck. Just seems no way around it.
