So we got some rental copies of Skyrim in at work. Opened them and prepped them for renting next Friday. Read the Instruction booklet and looked at the map.

when you opened the cases how did skyrim smell? That's one of my traditions... sniffin the inside contents like you sniff the inside of a brand new car. mmmmmm new video game smell

Well that's certainly not what I was expecting, I'd much rather have textured paper for a more authentic feel.

I guess that's good.. as long as it's durable and long lasting. I fold and unfold maps so much they usually end up falling apart. Or I spill something on them.

You'd think a cloth map would actually be cheaper to manufacture than a weird vinyl/paper-plastic hybrid thing.

And if you spilled something on the cloth map, you can just chuck it into the laundry and wash it with the rest of the stuff. 8)
