have you played the game yet? weightless have you missed the anoying Amulet of talos, the unusual stones (they are 24...) the plagius hip bone (a hip bone what the hell..... completelly useless...)

Their weights are displayed but they do not actually weigh anything.

I had this same problem...then I realized I was carrying 200 lbs in potions.

Remember, each potion is 0.5 lbs a piece.

There is a bug that makes quest items appear to have weight but they actually don't.

Is it possible that you have some sort of disease? Try looking under Magic > Active Effects. I'm not sure if such a disease(or whatever) even exists, but i suppose it's worth a try?

Some quest items to have a weight to them. Double check them. Are you sick that may be the cause. Just shooting in the dark with that.

Wrong... try picking up 5 witch heads (quest items at 4 lbs a piece) and I will guarantee they actually weigh that as I had to drop something to carry them.

Then i'm afraid you may have stumbled upon a mystery. I have just tried it myself, to see if for some reason it's an Orc thing, but nope.. I'm at 0/480 with just my quest items.

Use "removeallitems"

I tried that and when I went to check on my items they were all still there.

Can you drop the witch heads? Then they're not marked as quest items. They may be involved in a quest, but only items flagged "quest items" are weightless. Quest items are weightless because they're stuck in your inventory.

Not completely true. I have had items I could not place in a chest at my house but was latter able to sell them.

I have only found 1 item that weights 0 (that isn't an arrow or something similar). And that's the stone tablet. The elder scroll weights 20. :o

Maybe some quest items actually do weigh something then, but the Unusual Gems are 0.5 each and the Plagius' Hip Bone is 1, supposdely, but like i said above, i had 0/480 with quest items. So even if some show as weighing something, it's likely they don't.

So how did u fix it?

and in case you need to use removeallitems in the future... You need to target yourself by clicking your character with a mouse while the console is open and then enter the command, you can do this by changing to third person mode and then targeting your character.

Does eating people as a werewolf add temporary burden? Because after I first became one and eating people I couldn't move after I transfered back until I dropped stuff.

I find it interesting that potions can be heavier than the ingredients used to make them. Or is most of the weight in the bottle?

And I love the way that Frostbite Spider venom comes with it's own bottle too...
