Nope i understand completely but let me show you what realistic looks like,it's nothing like LOTRO.

I think TESO's environments aren't too far behind Age of Conan's actually. So long as there is a DX11 option for TESO, I'll have nothing to complain about regarding the environments and it will be more than up-to-date enough (just check out what AoC can do with DX11 in those vids).
I don't understand the characters though. They're out of proportion, and definitely closer to 'cartoony' than 'realistic'. http://image.gamespotcdn.net/gamespot/images/2012/157/669684_20120606_screen003.jpg in particular are too large on all of the male characters, and http://oi47.tinypic.com/24yu4rb.jpg... did he swallow a barrel? Or another Orc perhaps? http://images.wikia.com/elderscrolls/images/f/f2/Orc_zerker.jpg
As far as the comments saying
"This game has to look average so it can run on older computers." PLEASE stop saying this. Age of Conan is one of the best looking MMOs out there, and only requires a single core CPU and a GPU with 128MB of VRAM. That's peanuts. Please don't forget that graphics can always be turned down in PC games - we don't need to be fighting those 100 vs 100 battles with maxed out graphics at 60fps. I will happily turn my graphics settings
down to average during those large PVP situations - I don't really want the game to be capped at average graphics all the time...
And to clarify, I'm not saying I dislike cartoony art styles. I think http://www.gamesthirst.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/coper5.jpg http://www2.picturepush.com/photo/a/8385035/img/h/qqqqq5-(8).jpg http://www5.picturepush.com/photo/a/8385028/img/h/qqqqq5-(3).jpg http://www1.picturepush.com/photo/a/8385029/img/h/qqqqq5-(4).jpg http://www.keenandgraev.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/copernicus_almain.png http://blogs-images.forbes.com/erikkain/files/2012/05/project-copernicus-mmo.jpg (before they get canceled

). The world of TES is gritty and realistic though, which cartoon art styles don't fit into.
